The Oxford American’s three-page jihad against fellow awesome southern mag Garden & Gun (“GAG” in OA parlance) is basically a scene from Mark Twain’s “Journalism in Tennessee,” only without the grenades.
An Indiana newspaper publishes a column warning that Terry Jones’ Quran-burning means the Rapture is imminent:
Terry Jones and the burning of the Quran is only a gnat on the back of Islam and the end times. Earthquakes, famine and disease, wars and rumors of wars, nations and kingdoms rising against each other are but the beginning of the end but also the beginning of something much, much better to come.
And then they won a Pulitzer Prize for commentary! No, kidding, that was these guys.
